Intro

 

Here at Friendly Fires getaway, we do what we can to ensure that our space is the ultimate wellness retreat. When you visit us, we want you to feel your best and be your best. We hope to accomplish this by supplying you with the finest amenities a cottage could offer. Also, we plan on bringing some new things to our property that will support this. We’ll go into further detail on that, but rest assured, at FFG we care about your mental and physical wellbeing. 



 

Current wellness amenities

 

We currently have multiple amenities that fall into the wellness category. A sauna, hot tub, dock for sunbathing, and more! Our sauna is the perfect, quiet space to sweat your worries away. It currently sits just off the kitchen, inside the cottage, allowing you to relax without stepping foot outside! Our outdoor hot tub fits up to 8 people and is ideal for winding down at the end of the day. Our other amenities are also brought to you in order to provide relaxation and rejuvenation. Such as, the jacuzzi tub, the peaceful patio and the private yard. 




Uppliva  - what they do 

 

For a while now we have been speaking to/friends with Maureen from Uppliva Sauna and Steam (You can find her at https://uppliva.ca/).

Uppliva is a Nordic-style spa located in the heart of Hintoburg (www.uppliva.ca). It is currently offering Hot Stone Massage treatments and wildcrafted spa products made with organic and locally sourced botanicals. When COVID restrictions are lifted, the spa will offer a Sauna & Steam Circuit with a traditional sauna, aromatherapy steam room, cold plunge pool, refreshing rain showers and modern relaxation space. In the Future

 

We love bringing you new amenities, services and products. We really pride ourselves on being innovative and invigorating! We have been working with Uppliva to bring you new and exciting things. In the near future, we plan to have our own registered massage therapist here on the property. Also, we are looking forward to carrying some of Uppliva's wildcrafted spa products here at FFG!
